Art Criticism
A collection of all of my writing. I’ve written for Hyperallergic since its beginning in 2009. I am proud to be its veteran and longest standing continuous contributor.
My Writing Style
Bruce Lee once quipped the “best way is no way.” Lee was lamenting how aspuring ninjas lost battles by rigidly adhering to the rules of a particular school of throught, when the way to win a specific battle might call for more flexible tactics and a more mixed style.
I don’t have a rigid approach to writing – different topics call for different writing approaches, and I don’t want to force art into being something it’s not to fit some predetermined mold in my head. If you would like to learn more about my approach, check out the About Me section.
